Now 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble winner Liv Morgan has delivered the most memorable answer of the whole exchange, turning Brady’s own words against him.

Speaking on the Going Ringside podcast with host Scott Johnson, Morgan said she had seen Brady’s comments but “did not pay any mind” to them. She acknowledged that many in WWE are indeed “cute,” then made her case clearly. She argued that WWE stars could step onto any football field and handle the job. Then she turned the challenge around entirely.
“No disrespect to any sport out there, but I feel like you can take a WWE star and perhaps put them on the football field, and they will make do. We will get it done. But can you take a football star and put them in a WWE ring, and can they do everything that we do? I don’t know. I don’t know about that,” Morgansaid. “So, I think football is actually kind of cute. I think football is cute.”

Nearly two weeks ago, the exchange began at a live episode of Logan Paul’sIMPAULSIVE podcast, recorded at Radio Row during a Fanatics Super Bowl LX party. The context was the upcoming Fanatics Flag Football Classic, set for March 21 at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where Brady will return to the field for the first time since retiring in 2023.
Logan Paulpushed hard, comparing his own athleticism, saying he’s more athletic than Tom Brady in most sports. He asked Bradywhether NFL stars like Saquon Barkley could perform wrestling moves, such as a 180-degree moonsault off the top rope.
Brady was not buying it. Hereplied: “It’s cute. I love WWE. It’s very cute. But this is real football and real competition.”The clip spread instantly across social media.
Brady is a seven-time Super Bowl champion, a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, and now a Fox Sports NFL analyst. His credentials made the dismissal sting harder across WWE’s entire locker room.
WWE’s biggest names were asked to respond by Sports Illustrated at the WWE 2K26 Creator Fest. Drew McIntyre stayed calm but firm: “I don’t get annoyed. It just comes from a place of ignorance.”
CM Punk leaned into the humor: “What’s wrong with cute? I’m cute, Tom.”
Paul Heyman went further, dismissing Brady’s entire legacy in one sharp sentence: “What’s Tom Brady done? He’s thrown a football across a field that was caught by Gronkowski. Gronkowski deserves the credit. Belichick and his girlfriend deserve the credit. But Tom Brady?”
Oba Femi kept it direct: “For those who think it’s cute and it’s fluffy and it’s all sweet and stuff, so you can come and try. You can lace up some boots, and then let’s watch you puke.”
Morgan was among the last to respond and her words carry extra weight. She proved she had bigger things to focus on.
As the 2026 Royal Rumble winner, she holds the right to challenge for any women’s title at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas. She made her choice on Monday’s Raw at State Farm Arena in Atlanta,announcing she will challenge Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship on April 18 and 19 at Allegiant Stadium.
Brady, meanwhile, remains focused on the Fanatics Flag Football Classic in March. He has not responded to Morgan’s comments yet.
