After a tough loss to the rival Boston Celtics on Sunday, the Los Angeles Lakers will look to bounce back against the Orlando Magic on Tuesday night.
It will be the first of two meetings on the season between the two teams. They’ll also meet again in March.
LeBron James will play vs. Magic on Tuesday night
When it comes to LeBron James' status against Orlando, the star forward isn't listed on the official injury report, so he'll be out on the floor for the game. It will be James' 65th career regular season game against the Magic.
On the season, James has played in 38 games for the Lakers and he's averaging 21.7 points, 7.1 assists, 5.7 rebounds and 1.1 steals per performance. He recently played in his record-setting 21st career All-Star game.
James' productive play is part of the reason L.A. has been able to remain in the playoff picture in a competitive Western Conference.
The Lakers (34-22) enter the matchup against Orlando sitting fifth in the West, but just a game behind the Houston Rockets for the third spot. Meanwhile, the Magic (30-26) are seventh in the East.
With playoff positioning on the line, both teams should be majorly motivated on Tuesday night.
