Defensive midfielder Teshaun Murisa has become the latest youngster to sign his first professional contract with Arsenal, as reported by the [club](https://arsenal.com/news/teshaun-murisa-signs-first-professional-contract).
A player who progressed all the way through the ranks at Hale End, Murisa has been a regular starter at U18 level this season.
Effective at breaking up play and distributing short passes, the youngster made his competitive debut for the U21s as a substitute against Exeter in the EFL Trophy this season.
Furthermore, he came on against Athletic Bilbao in the UEFA Youth League.
Murisa featured prominently for the U18s last season when he was still a schoolboy, which included starting against Manchester United at Emirates Stadium in the FA Youth Cup.
