Dejounte Murray is set to make his season debut for the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday against the Golden State Warriors.
Dejounte Murray is set to make his first appearance in over 13 months when the New Orleans Pelicans host the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday, per ESPN.
New Orleans Pelicans / Schedule
Murray has been sidelined since rupturing his right Achilles tendon last January, after already missing time with a broken left hand.
New Orleans acquired Murray in a trade with the Atlanta Hawks that sent Dyson Daniels, Larry Nance Jr., Cody Zeller, and two first-round picks to Atlanta.
Last season, Murray appeared in just 31 games, averaging 17.5 points, 7.4 assists, and 6.5 rebounds while shooting 39.3% from the field.
The Pelicans have undergone major changes since Murray last played. The franchise replaced its front office, traded longtime star Brandon Ingram, and fired head coach Willie Green.
