The 2026 NFL Scouting Combine officially began Monday, when 319 prospects arrived in Indianapolis for medical evaluations and interviews, and the main event will take place later in the week. Specialists, defensive linemen, and linebackers work out on Thursday, followed by defensive backs and tight ends on Friday, wide receivers, running backs, and quarterbacks on Saturday, and offensive linemen on Sunday. One of the most intriguing prospects is wide receiver Jordyn Tyson.

Jordyn Tyson is considered a boom-or-bust prospect who has immense potential but has an extensive injury history throughout his college football career. He hauled in 158 receptions for 2,282 yards and 22 touchdowns across 33 games, including 136 catches for 1,812 yards and 18 touchdowns in his final two seasons at Arizona State. Tyson suffered a torn ACL, MCL, and PCL with Colorado in 2022, which cost him most of 2023, a broken collarbone in 2024, and a hamstring injury in 2025 that he later aggravated.

According to Dane Brugler of The Athletic on Monday night, Jordyn Tyson will not participate in Saturday’s on-field workouts as he continues to recover from a lingering hamstring injury. However, he is expected to take part in the interview process, medical evaluations, and the weigh-in. Given his extensive injury history, some teams may remove Tyson from their draft boards, and it remains to be seen whether he will fall in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Sources: Arizona State WR Jordyn Tyson won’t be doing any on-field workouts or testing at the NFL Combine.
