The final Premier League table has been forecast following the latest round of matches - bringing positive news for Liverpool. The Reds are competing to secure Champions League qualification, which would require each team to finish in the top four to guarantee entry into next season's tournament.
Fifth position could be sufficient to claim a Champions League berth thanks to England's strong UEFA coefficient, though that remains unconfirmed at this point in the campaign.
Liverpool stay in sixth position despite their dramatic 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest on Sunday, while Manchester United moved back up to fourth spot in the Premier League standings following their 1-0 victory over Everton on Monday Night Football.
Chelsea sit three points adrift in fifth after their draw with Burnley and now a fresh prediction has emerged for how the final Premier League standings will look. Opta Analyst have assessed the data and have projected the sides that will occupy the top four, reports the Mirror.
Arsenal are predicted to win the title on 82 (81.72) points, while Manchester City are second with 76 (75.86) points. The Gunners have been given a 100 per cent probability of securing Champions League qualification, while City are virtually assured a place in the competition with a 99.55 per cent likelihood.

Aston Villa are forecast to secure third place with 70 (69.56) points, whilst Liverpool are tipped to round off the top four with 65 (64.57) points. United trail just behind Liverpool in the predicted table with 64 (64.34) points, placing them fifth in the final standings.
Liverpool have been handed a 47.1 per cent probability of qualifying for the Champions League, while Man United's chances are slightly lower at 44.15 per cent. A fifth-place finish would likely suffice for Premier League clubs to qualify for next season's Champions League, as England is on track to retain its position at the top of UEFA's coefficients list.
Following the completion of the league phase and group stages, England are first in UEFA rankings due to the performances of all clubs participating in the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League. A top-two finish for England in UEFA's coefficients list would result in an additional qualification spot for next season's Champions League.
Six Premier League clubs took part in this season's Champions League after England was awarded an additional qualification place and Tottenham Hotspur secured their spot in the competition following their triumph in the Europa League final.
