Patriots Executive Reacts To Star Defender's Cryptic Social Media Post

The New England Patriots will have to make lots of difficult decisions this offseason.

One of the more important ones comes with standout linebacker K'Lavon Chaisson, who is set to enter NFL free agency.

The 26-year-old edge rusher led the Patriots with two forced fumbles during the regular season, tied for the team lead with 10 tackles for loss and was second only to Harold Landry in both quarterback hits (18) and sacks (7.5).

Chaisson recently made headlines when he shared a photo on his Instagram story with G Herbo’s "I'm Back" playing in the background, seeming to further solidify his interest in returning to New England.

Patriots executive vice president of player personnel Eliot Wolf was asked about the cryptic post on Tuesday.

"Wolf also did a session to the side with local reporters. On K'Lavon Chaisson posting 'I'm back' on social media: 'I don't know. I mean, we've had conversations with him and his representative, and we'll continue to try to see what happens in free agency,'" Christopher Price of The Boston Globe posted on Bluesky.

It might be tricky for New England to be able to afford re-signing Chaisson following his career year, but Wolf and company will almost certainly try.
