Arsenal are reportedly eager to make Piero Hincapié’s move from Bayer Leverkusen permanent this summer.
The 24-year-old defender joined the Gunners on an initial loan deal on deadline day last summer. The agreement included an option to buy worth around £45m.
According to TEAMtalk, Arsenal are now preparing to make Hincapié’s move permanent. Mikel Arteta is understood to be “delighted” with the defender’s impact at the club.
While no final decision has been made, it increasingly appears that the Ecuador international will remain at the Emirates beyond this season.
