On Tuesday evening, the Boston Celtics will play the Phoenix Suns in Arizona.
The Celtics are coming off an absolutely incredible performance against the Los Angeles Lakers where they won by a score of 111-89.
One of the biggest reasons for their victory was the play of All-Star forward Jaylen Brown.
He went off for 32 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and three steals while shooting 10/28 from the field in 36 minutes of playing time.

For Tuesday’s game, the Celtics will be without Brown, as he is currently dealing with a knee injury.

The Celtics have downgraded Jaylen Brown to OUT for tonight’s game at the Phoenix Suns.
Brown is currently in the middle of a season where many people are talking about him as a possible MVP.
The former Cal star is averaging 29.2 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 48.1% from the field and 34.4% from three-point range in 51 games.

Brown was initially the third pick in the 2016 NBA Draft.
He has spent all ten seasons of his pro career playing for the Celtics.
In that span, Brown has career averages of 19.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 47.8% from the field and 35.8% from three-point range in 654 games.

One of the reasons for Brown’s MVP case is the fact that the Celtics are among the best teams in the NBA.
They are currently the second seed in the Eastern Conference with a 37-19 record in 56 games.
The Celtics are in the middle of a three-game winning streak (and have won eight out of their last ten).
Following the Suns, the Celtics will play their next game on Wednesday night when they visit Jamal Murray and the Denver Nuggets in Colorado.
Noa Dalzell of Celtics on CLNS added: “Jaylen Brown is OUT tonight vs Suns, per Celtics. He’s dealing with a right knee contusion, and the Celtics are on the first night of a back-to-back.”

As for the Suns, they are coming off a year where they missed the NBA playoffs with Devin Booker, Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal.
Right now, they are the seventh seed in the Western Conference with a 33-25 record in 58 games.
At home, the Suns have gone 19-11 in the 30 games they have played in Arizona.
On March 16, the two teams will have their final meeting of the season when they play in Boston.
