One thing has dominated the headlines for the Kansas City Chiefs this offseason, and that's the future of Travis Kelce.
Depending on who you follow or what you read, there are varying thoughts on what Kelce will do.
Some think he's a certainty to return, others think he's going to retire, and in truth, no one really knows aside from Travis himself.
But when it comes to the Chiefs' front office and general manager Brett Veach, they already have each path planned out, so they have everything covered.
“I think we've kind of taken a different approach with Travis in the sense that I think we've prepared for either scenario,” Veach said.

Chiefs ready for Kelce decision
What Veach's comments tell us is that whatever Kelce decides, the Chiefs have a plan of attack for the following weeks.
Should he retire, there will no doubt be free agents and draftees that the franchise is excited about to potentially fill Kelce's shoes.
Conversely, if Travis does return, then it will be status quo for the most part, with the Chiefs still likely on the lookout for his successor.
So, they have all bases covered as they should.
Now it's just a waiting game.
