John Terry has admitted he was frustrated not to be called up to Chelsea's coaching staff after Enzo Maresca's sacking.
Maresca left his role at the start of the year and U21s manager Calum McFarlane stepped in as caretaker boss for one game.

McFarlane went on to lead the Blues to an impressive point away at Man City, as Enzo Fernandez scored a last-gasp equaliser.
Terry, who is also involved in a coaching role with the Chelsea academy, did not join up with the staff for the game.
And that's something that bugged the legendary captain, who made more than 700 appearances for the club.
He was first asked on a YouTube video with GOLF LIFE whether fans will be seeing him as a manager any time soon, before he quickly took the topic onto his snub for the Man City fixture.

Terry said: "I don't think so...I got linked with the Oxford job recently, which had no truth at all, I hadn't spoken to them.
"I'm in the academy with Chelsea, working with the 18s and 21s.
"I love my role there, it's on a part-time basis. I've always said that if Chelsea comes up...but then do I get Chelsea without doing the other bit? Probably not."
He then added: "For me, being in the building and being part of the 21s group recently when they took the Man City game, I didn't get the call or didn't get included in that.
"I wasn't annoyed, but probably more frustrated because I was certainly part of that 21s group that went over.
"So, even if I didn't take the team - Calum took the team, did really well and got a result out of the game - I feel like I should have been part of that.

"Now listen, people have got to make decisions, I love when people make decisions and go: 'Yes or no'.
"Clearly, the ownership, sporting directors, whoever makes that decision, go no, not to include me for whatever reason, I don't know.
"That's why I probably don't get the Chelsea bit if I don't go and do the other bit. But I'm certainly not looking."
Terry's managerial career
Terry won 15 trophies as a Chelsea player throughout his successful career at the club, making him their most decorated player.
He won the Champions League, five Premier Leagues, five FA Cups and three League Cups in 22 years at Stamford Bridge.
But now, despite Terry clearly not being too keen on starting a new role at the moment, he's beginning a managerial career.

Terry retired aged 37 and started an assistant position under Dean Smith at Aston Villa in 2018 to kick-start his post-career journey.
He has also been an assistant under Smith at Leicester City too.
The former England centre-back revealed to talkSPORT last year that he'd failed to get the Sunderland job after an interview.

And he's not managed to get his first head coach role since.
But Terry remains in his role with Chelsea's academy and he also posts regularly on social media with coaching-style videos.
