Eagles HC Nick Sirianni Teases Uncertainty on AJ Brown’s Future With Philly Next Season

One of the trending questions about the Philadelphia Eagles concerns AJ Brown’s future. As of this report, neither head coach Nick Sirianni nor AJ Brown has publicly indicated any knowledge of the player’s future with the club for next season.

While general manager Howie Roseman has given a peek into the franchise’s perspectives in the off-season, A.J. Brown’s next teammates are currently as good as anyone’s guess.

When pressed about Brown’s future with the Philadelphia Eagles, general manager Howie Roseman says the franchise won’t shut the door on a return. However, his comments depict that the Eagles aren’t actively shopping for Brown.

Meanwhile, on the player’s part, Brown has repeatedly called Eagles his “home” and reported that he felt lucky to be a leader within the offense. Statistically, Brown registered 78 catches, 1,003 yards, and seven touchdowns in 2025. Yet his numbers didn’t quiet trade speculation after an uninspiring run during the year.

Oh Boy: Eagles HC Nick Sirianni speaks on if AJ Brown will be on the team next season.

“Will AJ be here next season? I think we’re still in a spot where I can’t guarantee how anything is going to play out into next season. I’m thinking I’m going to be the coach next season, but… pic.twitter.com/ialWlugg8C

Head coach Nick Sirianni has similarly addressed the situation. However, like Roseman, the head coach didn’t give a definitive answer either. While he acknowledged he planned to be the head coach next season, Sirianni conceded that no one could guarantee the franchise’s future.

However, Sirianni admitted that AJ is a good teammate with a likable personality. He also conceded that AJ desired to be part of the squad. In hisexact words:

“Will AJ be here next season? I think we’re still in a spot where I can’t guarantee how anything is going to play out into next season. I’m thinking I’m going to be the coach next season, but you can’t guarantee anything past tomorrow.”

A.J. Brown has also kept mum about his own future in Philadelphia. Meanwhile, he avoided league-mandated locker room sessions during the final month of the regular season. Despite appearing on podcasts, he has restricted his comments to general positive sentiments about the Eagles. Till the new season begins, A.J. Brown would do great at keeping himself fit – physically and otherwise – to give his future teammates the best experience possible.
