Simons has a left wrist fracture, and it is a recurring injury he endured to start the 2025-26 season with the Celtics.
It appears Anfernee Simons will miss time for the Chicago Bulls.
In the pregame of the team's Tuesday home clash against the Charlotte Hornets, Billy Donovan announced that Simons sustained a fractured left wrist.
Simons' timetable of return hasn't been determined yet, and it will be a matter of pain tolerance for the guard.
The Bulls coach further noted that Simons' wrist issues are a recurring injury he endured during his time in the Boston Celtics earlier this season. Simons suffered from the injury in the training camp and missed 10 days.
Acquired from the Celtics in the past NBA trade deadline that sent away Nikola Vucevic, Simons has appeared in six games thus far for the Bulls.
He is averaging 15.2 points, 3.0 assists and 2.8 boards.
