The Champions League last-16 line-up is beginning to form as four teams have secured their places in the next stage of the competition. These include Atletico Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen, Bodo/Glimt and Premier League side Newcastle United.
The Magpies defeated Qarabag 3-2 on Tuesday night, winning 9-3 on aggregate after a resounding 6-1 win on their travels in the first leg. This means all six Premier League clubs who entered this year's tournament will participate in the last-16, with the possibility that two could be drawn against each other for next month's fixtures.

Newcastle find themselves in one of the most challenging positions, given their last-16 opponents will be either Chelsea or Barcelona. The Magpies have only managed one victory at Chelsea since 2012, suggesting they'll need to perform strongly in the first leg to have any hope of progressing.
Eddie Howe's team have already suffered defeat to Barcelona this season after being drawn against them in the league phase of the tournament. Arsenal also face the tricky test of a clash with Bayern Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund or Atalanta, with the latter two teams set to do battle in Italy on Wednesday night.
For Liverpool and, consequently, Tottenham, there is an equally challenging situation, given their potential opponents include Atletico, Galatasaray, or Juventus. Atletico confirmed their last-16 berth with victory over Club Brugge on Tuesday, whilst Galatasaray hold a 5-2 advantage going into Wednesday's second leg against Juventus.
Arne Slot's team have already suffered defeat to Galatasaray this campaign, and though they did overcome Atletico in the league phase, the Spanish side did eliminate Liverpool at this stage during the 2019/20 season.
