Chelsea loanee Omari Kellyman is doing all he can while on loan from the club to prove himself to the club, but his preferred position looks like it is always going to cause him issues.
The youngster is currently enjoying a rich vein of form while featuring for Cardiff City, with him finally getting a taste of regular football after his woeful run of injuries.
Kellyman scored twice at the weekend on the same day Chelsea dropped points to Burnley in the Premier League.

Omari Kellyman has no chance of Chelsea future because of Cole Palmer
In an interview with The Athletic, when asked on his favoured position, he said: “I am more of a No 10 that plays off the right so I can cut in on my left foot.”
Chelsea already have Cole Palmer who specialises in this role, with the Blues working hard to get the best out of him since his own injury woes.
The Blues made it clear over the summer they were not particularly keen on signing competition to the England international. They brought in Facundo Buonanotte on loan, with that deal already being terminated.
Even if Kellyman fancied his chances at providing competition to Palmer, Chelsea’s long-term plan will also likely cause major issues to that ambition.

Estevao Willian is the future of Chelsea
Estevao Willian has been eased into action since joining Chelsea, however is clearly talented enough to make a major impact in the coming years.
The Brazil international is also left-footed, and some of the assurances the club made him when he joined suggests his position could be about to shift.
Estevao was reportedly promised a future in the number 10 role at Stamford Bridge, and given how big a fan the club are of him suggests they will look to deliver on this.
This poses even more issues for Kellyman, who despite the high transfer fee still looks as if he has no real chance of making it at Chelsea.
