Man United star Amad Diallo has singled out Luis Diaz as one of his favourite players.
The Colombian is thriving at Bayern Munich since making the switch from Liverpool last summer, with 19 goals and 15 assists in 33 games this season.
Liverpool have missed Diaz more than most anticipated — the intensity and fight he showed in a red shirt were massively underrated.
Who was the better Liverpool goalkeeper – prime Alisson or prime Pepe Reina?
Diallo was asked a host of quickfire questions in a recent media appearance, and he named Diaz alongside some of the world’s best.
Luis Diaz one of Amad Diallo’s favourite players to watch
We don’t need to explain too much about why Diaz is an electric player to watch.
It feels like he was lighting it up for far longer than the three-and-a-half years he was at Anfield. The pace, directness and eye for goal played a major role in Liverpool’s title win last season.
Speaking to ESPN on TikTok, Diallo names Diaz in his top three favourite wingers to watch, grouping him with Lamine Yamal and Vinicius Jr. Not bad company!

When you think about some of the players he’s ahead of — Mo Salah, Michael Olise, Raphinha, Bukayo Saka — it’s all the more impressive.
There’s something about the demeanour of Diaz that meant that even though he was erratic at times, you couldn’t take your eyes off him.
Since moving to the Bundesliga, his game has gone up another level.
Liverpool’s biggest regret of the summer, the fans proved it
It becomes clearer by the day that selling Diaz was a mistake for Liverpool.
His impact flew under the radar playing alongside Salah, but the absence of that off-ball effort has left a void in Arne Slot’s side.
Surely there’s no way back to Salah’s best from here?

Liverpool fans voted for Diaz when asked who they would rather re-sign out of him and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
And that’s 100% true. As special as Trent was, his creativity has been supplemented. Diaz’s impact has not.
