EA FC 26 Fantasy FC expected content
After the release of the Fantasy FC Cup and Fantasy FC League tournaments, both of those will continue. Entry refreshes will occur during the second week of the promo, meaning anyone yet to complete the connected objectives will still have some chance of doing so.
EA Sports also promised a first collaboration with Fantasy Premier League. Details are set to be revealed this week, but at the moment, all we know is that “select players” will be upgraded based on their FPL performances for Matchweek 29 - which runs from Tuesday, March 3 to Thursday, March 5.
Also launching in Week 2 is Ultimate Gauntlet 12. This will bring more themed rewards, including Fantasy FC Odsonne Édouard.
On top of all that, the usual themed Squad Building Challenges and Objectives will arrive over the course of the week. The likes of Matheus Nunes, Leandro Trossard and Diego Forlan are predicted to be featured for those.
How Fantasy FC upgrades work
EA Sports FC 26 Fantasy FC promo Ultimate Team upgrade path
The upgrades follow very strict criteria over the coming real-life domestic fixtures(Image: EA Sports)

Fantasy FC players in Ultimate Team get special upgrades depending on their team’s real-life domestic performances. A number of specific criteria have been set with varying upgrades corresponding to those requirements.
All upgrades are based on results over the next four league games, except for special seasonal upgrades. These won’t be determined until the end of the domestic campaign, when players belonging to league winners and domestic cup winners - such as the FA Cup or Copa del Rey - will get a special boost.
Hero cards get slightly different upgrade rules. However, it still depends on the results of their assigned club - for example, Yaya Toure is assigned to Manchester City - during the same four-game period.
Should that club pick up six points from their next four league games after the card is released in-game, that Fantasy FC Hero will be granted an overall rating boost of +1 and a role++. Additionally, the player will get a 99 face stat in either Pace, Shooting, Passing, Dribbling, Defending or Physical should their club score 10 goals in the next four league games.
Finally, the seasonal rewards are a third PlayStyle+ and either an overall rating boost of +1 if they win the league, or a boost of one weak foot and skill moves rating for winning the domestic cup. EA Sports have more information on Fantasy FC upgrades on a dedicated web page.
