The move adds one of college basketball's most respected minds to the organization's scouting and draft process.
Bennett built a strong reputation during his time at Virginia. He led the program to the 2019 NCAA Championship, guiding the Cavaliers to the first national title in school history.
During his tenure, Bennett was named National Coach of the Year multiple times and won several ACC Coach of the Year awards.
He developed NBA-level talent, including players like Malcolm Brogdon, DeAndre Hunter, and Ty Jerome, all of whom became first-round draft picks.
