Palmeiras are reportedly in active negotiations to sell Arsenal target Luis Benedetti.
It has been widely reported in Brazilian media that Arsenal hold a long-term interest in the 19-year-old Palmeiras defender.
Palmeiras insider Espião Verde recently reported that Arsenal and Serie A side Como were interested in a potential summer move.
Now, Espião Verde has provided an interesting update on the situation.
The report claims Palmeiras are currently working behind the scenes to sell Benedetti. There is an expectation that the Brazilian defender will join a European club in the coming weeks.

Palmeiras have previously rejected offers of around €10m from both Arsenal and Barcelona. Furthermore, it is understood they are holding out for at least €20m to sanction any possible sale.
It remains to be seen whether the Gunners are the club in question. Alternatively, Benedetti may be set to join another European side in the near future.
