Prayers are pouring in for legendary NBA star Chris Bosh on Wednesday.
Bosh, 41, played in the NBA from 2003-17. His career was tragically cut short due to blood clots. Bosh, the No. 4 overall pick in the 2003 NBA Draft, won two championships and made 11 All-Star Games. He's one of the best power forwards in the history of the game.
But Bosh has been dealing with scary health issues.
Bosh revealed on Wednesday that he recently woke up covered in his own blood. He was walking into a bathroom when a numbing sensation shot down his left leg. When Bosh woke up, he was covered in his own blood. His wife was on the phone with emergency responders, while he was unable to move.
The health scare gave him a new perspective on life.

"After coming back from the darkness, there was no euphoric clarity," he said. "No life montage flashing before my eyes. No voice in my ear telling me it'll be ok and what to do next. Just the gratitude for still being alive, and a newfound, sobering awareness of how everything actually is."
"What did change was an immediate outlook on life that was simpler and more honest."
