Like every year, the winners of the Super Bowl celebrated with a massive parade. The Seahawks parade drew in thousands of excited fans on the streets of Seattle who wished to honor the players. Smith-Njigba was one such player who did a lot for the team, with 1,793 receiving yards from 119 receptions and 10 touchdowns.
The players were on the bus, looking and waving towards the fans on the streets. One such moment caught the eyes of the internet, thanks to an Instagram story by Seahawks wide receiver and punt returner Tory Horton. He shared an image of some fans holding some signs. While the others were humorous and relatable, one sign stood out for its vulgar message.
It was directly addressed to Smith-Njigba with name abbreviated as JSN, and the sign read, “JSN put it in my butt and I liked it.” It was held by a young male supporter of the franchise, and was probably done to get attention and incite humor. However, many social media users online did not appreciate it, and blasted the fanbase over it.
