Liverpool's No.8 is grabbing the season by the scruff of the neck and putting on his own goal of the season show. Sounds familiar, doesn't it?
Whilst it is far too early to compare Dominik Szoboszlai to the simply incomparable, he has been a breath of fresh air in an otherwise disastrous Liverpool campaign.
Where there is a big game, there seems to be a big moment from the Hungarian, even if the Reds fail to secure all three points. Be it at right-back or in central midfield, Szoboszlai has become one of the most important players at Anfield.
But could Liverpool suffer from his success? Recent comments from Hungary manager Marco Rossi have sent the rumour mill into overdrive.
The latest on Szoboszlai's future at Liverpool
"Due to the very close and direct relationship I have had with Dominik Szoboszlai since he started playing football as a child, Real Madrid has always been his dream", revealed Rossi earlier this month to signal panic at Anfield.
It would be like Groundhog Day for the Reds if Real Madrid came knocking for their star player yet again. It was less than a year ago that the Spanish giants welcomed Trent Alexander-Arnold to the Bernabeu, as the scouse-born right-back made the controversial decision to ditch his boyhood club.

Now, Rossi's words suggest that Szoboszlai could be next. This time, however, it looks as though Liverpool will not be running the risk of losing their star man for free, with rumours claiming that successful contract negotiations have already taken place.
With around 18 months left on his current deal, now would be the perfect time for Liverpool to end all rumours surrounding Szoboszlai's future. In the midfielder, they have a future captain and someone that they must simply do everything to keep.
Even if it means sacrificing some high earners to hand their midfield star a highly-deserved pay rise, FSG should get ruthless and send one transfer flop packing this summer.
High earner must leave Liverpool this summer
Whilst the tears are still flowing in Turin as far as Anfield is concerned, the truth is that Federico Chiesa has proved exactly why he's been left out of Arne Slot's side for the majority of his Liverpool career this season.
The Italian has played just 269 minutes in the Premier League, despite Mohamed Salah's AFCON appearance earlier this year, and has scored twice in that time - both coming in the opening six games.

Some will be quick to suggest that Chiesa simply hasn't had the opportunity to impress at Anfield. That is no longer the truth, however.
As impressive as his work-rate is - winning seven tackles in the Premier League this season - that work has rarely resulted in the end product that Liverpool have so desperately needed.

Things are made worse by the forward's reported salary. As the Reds look to make space for a Szoboszlai pay rise, cutting Chiesa's eye-watering £7.8m-a-year wage should be among Liverpool's priorities.

It feels absurd that the undeniable transfer flop earns more than Szoboszlai's £6.2m-a-year Anfield salary and £1.6m more per-year to be exact, but that is something likely to change if the Hungarian puts pen to paper on a new deal.
Liverpool's Federico Chiesa
What's more, it's hard to argue against Chiesa's sale this summer. There was an understandable reluctance last summer after the departure of Luis Diaz, alongside Darwin Nunez and the tragic passing of Diogo Jota left Liverpool short on attacking numbers.
This time around, however, Chiesa should be free to leave to hand Rio Ngumoha a pathway to further responsibility and make room for potential arrivals like Yan Diomande.
