NBC is making changes to its Sunday Night Football pregame show.
And in one of the moves, Tony Dungy is "likely out as a regular" on Football Night in America, [according to The Athletic's Andrew Marchand](https://x.com/andrewmarchand).
Dungy has been with the network for 17 seasons after concluding a stellar coaching career.
The Hall of Famer "has not been fully informed of the move, leaving the small possibility NBC could change its mind," Marchand writes.
Marchand adds that FNIA is expected to be a "new-look show," and so that this may not be the last change.
"The network may take the show fully on the road next season and slim down its large cast," Marchand writes.
According to The Athletic, "many" of the contracts for NBC's studio analysts ended after the Super Bowl, which was broadcast on NBC this year.

Some of the analysts aside from Dungy were Devin McCourty, Jason Garrett, Chris Simms and Rodney Harrison.
NBC's pregame show also makes use of Maria Taylor, Mike Florio, Jac Collinsworth, Matthew Berry and Steve Kornacki.
This season, NBC did a split pregame show in which Dungy and Harrison went on the road with Collinsworth and the rest operated out of the studio.
Marchand goes on to reference Mike Tomlin and Travis Kelce as two potential replacement analysts who may not be ready to step into TV yet.
For now, all that's known is it appears the 70-year old Dungy is out.
