NFL Fans React To 'Sunday Night Football' Announcers Shakeup

An announcing shakeup is coming to NBC's "Sunday Night Football" and "Football In America."

Tony Dungy, who has been a part of NBC's "Sunday Night Football" coverage for 17 seasons, is reportedly likely out at the network. He is not expected to return to "Football Night in America."

Multiple changes are likely coming.

Andrew Marchand of The Athletic reports that Dungy's ousting "is one of the first decisions in what is anticipated to be a new-look show." More changes are likely coming, too.

"The network may take the show fully on the road next season and slim down its large cast," the report reads.

NFL fans are weighing in on the decision.

Fans react to 'Sunday Night Football' changes

NFL fans are weighing in on the move.

"My prediction - Harrison, Garrett, J Collinsworth and Dungy out. Everyone else stays and goes on the road except Florio. FNIA becomes the Simms and Taylor show with the hopes they can get a big analyst, Fanta joins to do highlights from the studio. A big legend takes on MJ role," one fan wrote.

"Had a feeling this was coming when they just stuck him on Alcatraz for no reason during the pregame show," one fan joked.

"Does anyone actually watch these shows? I tune in when game starts, flip to something else at halftime, out of there when game is over," another fan added.

"Get rid of literally everyone on this show outside of Kornacki. The show is stale. The show is boring. No one has any chemistry with each other. No one has any on-camera presence. ESPN gave them the formula for a Sunday night show and they blew it This most recent Super Bowl pregame was the most boring, bland filler I can ever remember This is a start. Gotta do a lot more," one fan added.
