Broncos hire former Colorado defensive coordinator to staff

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - According to reports, the Denver Broncos have hired former Colorado defensive coordinator Robert Livingston as their defensive pass game coordinator.

This comes as the team’s previous coordinator, Jim Leonhard, was hired as the Buffalo Bills’ Defensive Coordinator. Livingston was hired by Colorado back in 2024, significantly improving the team’s defense.

In response, the Buffs have promoted internally Chris Marve to take Livingston’s place. Marve joined the Colorado staff during this offseason. He was previously the defensive coordinator for Virginia Tech from 2022 to 2024.

Currently, the Broncos are in the midst of a major retooling after their AFC Championship loss this past season. As free agency approaches, the Broncos are expected to be active in pursuing more talent to bolster their roster.
