The agency of Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha has been very coy about his future as he continues to attract interest from Chelsea.
It was recently suggested that Nmecha could join Chelsea in a potential £61m deal this summer.
Surely we can just put our trust in Andrey Santos?
Or are the club worried about Romeo Lavia and Dario Essugo?

A lot still needs to happen before a transfer to the Blues even comes close to materialising, but his agents are keeping all options on the table.

Felix Nmecha’s agency hasn’t ruled out summer exit amid Chelsea interest
Dortmund will be keen to keep hold of Nmecha, as he has been an important player for them this season. However, his agency has hinted at discussions about his future at a later date and has not quashed transfer speculation.
“Felix still has two years left on his contract, and we fully respect that,” Nmecha’s agency said via Sport Bild. “Borussia Dortmund has played a key role in his development, and he is grateful for the trust and platform the club has given him.
“The player is developing from season to season, and when a player performs well, there is naturally always interest and questions about the future. That’s part of top-level football and reflects the progress he has made.
“At the moment, the focus is very clear: Felix is determined to give everything for Borussia Dortmund, to fight for the club, and to help the team achieve its goals. Any discussions about the future will, in due course, always be conducted respectfully and jointly with the club.”
Nmecha is not the only midfielder who has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge. There has also been speculation about Chelsea being interested in Real Madrid star Aurelien Tchouameni.
However, it is thought that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has no intention of selling Tchouameni to the Blues.
For multiple reasons, Nmecha is a much more realistic target for Chelsea than Tchouameni.

Felix Nmecha’s stats this season
As already mentioned, Nmecha has been a key player for Niko Kovac in the current campaign.
In total, Nmecha has made 23 appearances in the Bundesliga, scoring two goals and providing two assists across those matches. It is not bad for a defensive midfielder.
Somehow, Nmecha has not picked up a yellow card or red card this season, which is quite surprising given the nature of his role in the team.
He is perhaps someone several Chelsea players can learn from after the ill-discipline that they have shown. A red card was shown to Wesley Fofana last weekend, which was Chelsea’s eighth of the season in all competitions.
Who starts in place of Wesley Fofana against Arsenal?🤔

Their disciplinary record is now causing concerns inside Chelsea and is something that Liam Rosenior needs to address quickly. It is costing them too many points.
