First Round Draft Pick
Cedric Tillman/Free Agent
Isaiah Bond
Malachi Corley
Gage Larvadain/Day Three Draft Pick/UDFA
I am basing the above on them investing in a second tight end and maintaining their numbers of around 2.3 wide receivers per snap. This would change if it was going to jump to the 2.8 we saw in 2024. The Head Coach and Offensive staff are diverse, so there are multiple directions they could go.
As things currently stand I expect them to go big at wide receiver in the draft with Tysom, Tate, Boston or Concepcion. While people might look at free agency names, I don't see these type of players wanting to come to the Cleveland Browns with where they are at with quarterback. If they were to get someone of note, Romeo Doubs remains the one who has always interested me since he was drafted. They could instead turn to a cheap veteran player, who might not make the final roster but can be a leadership figure through camp, with a chance to make the roster.
I feel good with the trio of Bond, Tillman and Corley as their rotation players. If their starting tandem are playing around 90% of snaps each then they have half the snaps in a game to split between three players. This will depend on the plays you are calling as they all have different strengths they can offer. If they add a free agent then I can see Tillman asking to be released or traded as he will known his time is likely done.
With the final spot they could look towards Larvadain or a free agent returner, ideally not. A day three draft pick or a UDFA who impresses in the preseason is likely to fill it. Considering the player is likely to be inactive if they are embracing two tight end sets it matters less than you would think.
