AC Milan are keen on signing Arsenal’s Gabriel Jesus in the summer.

That’s according to Calciomercato.it, who cover the Serie A side’s interest in the Arsenal player.

Last month, the striker made his first Champions League start against Inter Milan and scored a brace in Arsenal’s 3-1 win at the San Siro. His performance resulted in talks of interest from Serie A.

On January 20th, Sport Witness covered claims from Italy that AC Milan and Juventus are in the picture for Jesus, with it stated he was valued at no more than €20m. That felt too low.

The Brazil international suffered a serious injury in January 2025, forcing him to spend over 300 days on the sidelines.

He returned to the pitch in December and scored five goals and contributed two assists from 18 matches.

His recent performances may have seen the Rossoneri continue to keep tabs on Jesus and Calciomercato.it reports the latest.

Milan keen on Arsenal player

The outlet’s summary says the 28-year-old is ‘fast approaching his departure’ from the Emirates. Within the report, it’s said he ‘could change and say goodbye’ to the Gunners after this season despite having a contract until 2027.

To sum it up, Jesus seems to be keen on leaving Arsenal and has Italy on his agenda. Milan are an interested party there, and they would be ready to go crazy for the former Manchester City man.

Last month, the South American reunited with his former agent, Giovanni Branchini, who also represents Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri. The change of agents could favour the Italian club in their efforts to bring him to the San Siro.

Serie A side ready to test Gunners

Milan are dreaming of having a front three of Jesus, Rafael Leão and Christian Pulisic next season. It won’t be easy as Allgeri’s side will have to negotiate with the Premier League side.

According to Calciomercato.it, the negotiations with the north London club will be very complicated.

Despite this, Milan sporting director Igli Tare remains fully committed to trying to sign the Brazilian. In short, Tare is anticipating tough talks with Arsenal but remains determined to give it a shot.
