Welcome to series focusing specifically on the schoolboys at Arsenal who are currently at Hale End – those in the U16s and below. The academy is based in E17, Walthamstow. The 17th article is on Bubacar Jallow.
A winger who is a very exciting prospect, Jallow is technically part of Arsenal’s U14 squad but has already featured at higher levels.
Eligible to play for England or Gambia, Jallow frequently glides past players and makes good use of his flair.
Jallow has much confidence in possession and also poses a threat in front of goal himself.
Recently Jallow was involved as Arsenal U16s played two friendlies in Germany against Eintracht Frankfurt and Bayern Munich.
Earlier this season Jallow scored for the U16s against Norwich before also featuring at that level against Crystal Palace.
In addition, he also recently made an impact for the U15s against Southampton as he scored and provided an assist in a Floodlit Cup fixture.
Jallow will be targeting further involvement with the U16s in the remainder of the campaign and a debut for the U18s in the near future cannot be ruled out.
