In recent years, AC Milan have made attempts to sign several youngsters from Real Madrid, and they have normally worked out well, so they will try again.
When you look at the recent history of players arriving from Los Blancos, the general feeling is positive. Brahim Diaz played a huge part in the Scudetto season, and he remains one of the fan favourites.
Then, Alex Jimenez was a success for different reasons. Rather than him hitting the level as his fellow Valdebebas graduate, he was sold for €20 million last summer, so proof that the recent successes have been there.
Moretto’s Valdepenas update
Now, the Rossoneri are trying to add another to that list, but the terms may be slightly different this time. Milan, as Matteo Moretto reports, are making an attempt for Victor Valdepenas, and MilanPress have relayed his most recent update.
“The Spaniard is very much in the spotlight at AC Milan, who have been monitoring him for some time. The club is currently in talks with his agent, Alejandro Camano, to discuss the structure of the deal.

“However, there’s one aspect that ‘s not convincing AC Milan. The club doesn’t want to repeat previous negotiations with Los Blancos, who typically retain a 50% stake in the player’s future sale.”
Whether Real will agree to let a star go without some control on his future is debatable, but the only way to find out is to ask.
