The formal interviews kicked into high gear Tuesday night and in addition to Ohio State linebacker Sonny Styles, I’m told the Giants met with Texas linebacker Anthony Hill and Clemson defensive tackle Peter Woods. Sounds like Hill won over the room inside the Giants’ suite at Lucas Oil Stadium, which is interesting to see Styles and Hill emerge as legit options for a defense seeking MIKE linebacker presence.
Shared a laugh with Woods, who trains with Giants All-Pro Dexter Lawrence, given their Clemson connection, when I asked for his thoughts of maybe getting the chance to play with Dex. “They gotta come get me,” Woods told me with a smile. He’s likely a late first-round pick.
