Brandon Aubrey's Wife Fires Back at ‘Fake' Cowboys Contract Demands

Few would argue that Dallas Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey should be the highest-paid player at his position.

The Cowboys even agree, according to ESPN.

But where things have reportedly broken down between the two sides is how much Aubrey should be making on his next contract.

The 30-year-old Aubrey, who made 36 of his 42 field goals last season with a long of 64 yards, is a pending free agent and is due a sizable raise from the $898,333 he made in 2025.

And according to ESPN's Todd Archer, that new deal could be in the range of $10 million per season, which would easily make him the highest-paid kicker in the NFL.

"The Cowboys have offered a deal for Aubrey that is more than the league-high $6.4 million average per season for Kansas City’s Harrison Butker, sources told ESPN," Archer wrote. "However, Aubrey’s agent, Todd France, has asked for a deal closer to $10 million per season, according to sources."

Acher's report spread rapidly, with many on social media criticizing Aubrey for demanding so much money for a kicker.

However, now it seems that report may not be factually accurate. Aubrey's wife Jenn took to social media to shut down the rumors that her husband is demanding such an exorbitant salary.

"FALSE," Jenn replied on Instagram.

But she's not the only one refuting the report.

Aubrey himself also denied the rumors on social media, as did his agent.

"The NFL combine…where misinformation spreads like wildfire. Looking forward to my meeting with the Cowboys on the bus," France wrote on Instagram.
