Gunners Icon Tells Fans£200K-A-Week Star Could Leave Arsenal In Summer

Arsenal veteran and former midfield star Ray Parlour has suggested that Gabriel Jesus could be poised to leave Arsenal when the summer transfer window opens, adding fresh fuel to ongoing speculation over the Brazilian forward’s future at the Emirates Stadium.

Parlour — who made more than 450 appearances for the Gunners in the club’s most successful era — was speaking on the state of *ARSENAL*’s squad ahead of next season when he hinted that Jesus might not be part of Mikel Arteta’s long-term plans.

The former England international noted that competition for minutes in Arsenal’s forward line has intensified in recent months as Viktor Gyokeres and Kai Havertz have featured more prominently up front.

Jesus’ situation has been widely discussed across the English and European football media, with the strikers role in the starting XI under scrutiny after a serious injury kept him sidelined for much of last season and left his place less than assured upon his return.

Despite a brief revival in fitness and goalscoring form late last year, Jesus has often been used in a rotational role, prompting questions over whether he should seek a new challenge elsewhere

‘I think Jesus might leave at the end of the season, he is at that age where he wants to be playing week in, week out,’ Parlour told Metro via BetMGM.

‘We could lose him. We had four strikers when I played. That’s what I don’t understand. (Regardless of Jesus leaving), bring in another one anyway. That can give the other options a lift because they see the standard being set.’

Reports in the Italian press have linked the Brazil international with moves to Serie A clubs such as AC Milan and Juventus, where he could secure more consistent playing time and rekindle his career at the highest level.

While ARSENAL officials have not publicly confirmed any intention to sell, the summer window could prove pivotal for both club and player as they assess their attacking options ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
