Arsenal will get the chance to freshen up their ranks with some new signings this summer
Arsenal are ‘watching’ Ajax youngster Sean Steur along with a host of Premier League rivals, according to TEAMtalk. The Gunners are keeping tabs on the Eredivisie prospect at the moment. However, they face competition from Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Newcastle United.
Mikel Arteta’s side remain top of the table above City and Aston Villa. They are hoping that this is the year that they can finally get their hands on the trophy. The London outfit won 4-1 away at Spurs last time out.

Arsenal could see Steur as someone to boost their midfield department. If he joined, he would battle it out with the likes of Declan Rice and Martin Zubimendi for a place in their starting XI. At the age of just 18, he has bags of potential and has a bright future ahead of him in the game.
Steur, who is a Holland youth international, linked up with Ajax back in 2016. Prior to his switch to Amsterdam, he spent time in the academy at RKAV Volendam. He has since risen up through the ranks of the Dutch giants and has been a regular at various different youth levels over recent times.
The teenager has burst into their first-team this season and is becoming a key player. He has made 14 appearances for them in all competitions to date, 13 of which have come in this campaign. Ajax will face a battle to keep hold of him down the line though amid attention from England.
What next for Arsenal?
Arsenal’s spirits will be high after their victory at Spurs. They will be hoping for more of the same against Chelsea. Speaking afterwards, Eze said: "We played with dominance today, with confidence and just the connection that we had on the pitch. I think it was a special performance from us and something that we can continue to build on and something to work towards our goals.
“We know what these types of games are. We know the energy that the fans are bringing and how we need to be emotionally ready for the games as well. I think we've done so well with that and we took advantage of that for sure. These games are all about momentum and being in the moment. I'm just thankful to God for the opportunities that we took today. We worked so hard, we gave everything and when we perform like this it motivates us.”
