Report: Seahawks rank 4th among NFL teams in NFLPA report card survey

The Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks received the fourth-best mark overall in the NFL Players Association’s annual survey of working conditions, according to a report from ESPN NFL senior NFL writer Kalyn Kahler on Thursday.

The only teams ahead of the Seahawks are the Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings and Washington Commanders.

The NFLPA’s annual report card survey grades franchises from A-plus to F-minus on 17 different categories. The survey was conducted from Nov. 2 to Dec. 11, and all players who were on a team’s roster at that time were eligible to participate.

Earlier this month, the NFL won a grievance against the NFLPA that effectively banned the union from publishing the player report cards. But ultimately, that didn’t stop the results from getting out.

The Seahawks finished with an A-plus, A or A-minus in 14 of the 17 categories. The only categories where they received lower grades were the locker room (B-plus), treatment of families (B-plus) and home game field (F).

The F grade is presumably due to Lumen Field’s playing surface being artificial turf instead of natural grass. The Seahawks were one of eight teams that received an F or F-minus in field grade. Nineteen teams received a C-plus or worse in that category.

Below is the full list of Seahawks grades, according to Kahler.
