Earlier today, it was reported that Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur did not receive a very high grade on the annual NFLPA report cards. After the season ended, players from each NFL team were asked to rate various aspects of their organizations. In the past, the results of these report cards were published on the NFLPA’s website. Now, though, NFL owners have successfully kept them from being released to the public.
However, Kalyn Kahler of ESPN obtained a copy of the report card results and published the final grades given for each of the NFL’s 32 teams.
And based on the results, the Packers have some areas in need of significant improvement.
Green Bay Packers NFLPA report card grades for the 2025 NFL season
Green Bay Packers Head Coach Matt LaFleur and General Manager Brian Gutekunst talk on the field during Green Bay Packers Family Night on Aug. 2, 2025, at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wis.
According to Kahler’s reporting, the Packers grades on the NFLPA report cards are as follows:
Treatment of Families: C+
Home Game Field: C+
Food/Dining Area: B+
Nutritionist/Dietician: B
Locker Room: A
Training Room: C
Weight Room: A-
Strength Coaches: B
Position Coaches: B+
Offensive Coordinator: C
Defensive Coordinator: A-
Special Teams Coordinator: B+
Team Travel: B-
Head Coach: B-
General Manager: B+
Team Ownership: A-
Now, the easy thing to do with these grades is overreact and read into them without context. On the surface, these are not great marks and, indeed, Green Bay does rank in the bottom-third of the NFL in overall grading.
That being said, the team that got the highest overall grades was the Miami Dolphins, who fired their general manager and head coach and replaced them with former Packers staff.
The training room received a rather low mark, but even before the results of the NFLPA report cards were reported to teams, the Packers had already begun renovations and upgrading theirs. A similar thing happened last year when Green Bay received low marks for their locker room. They had already begun renovating it last year when the grades came out, and now they have one of the highest locker room grades in the league.
It is also noteworthy that the players gave Rich Bisaccia, the special teams coordinator, a good grade. He, of course, stepped down from the Packers last week, much to the delight of fans.
LaFleur going from an A- in 2024 to a B- in 2025 is interesting. After the season ended, the majority of Packers players voiced their support for the head coach getting a contract extension. One wonders if the players leaving Green Bay in free agency or who have already been informed that they will be cut casualties took some frustration out on him.
A couple interesting head coaching grades from the NFLPA report cards include Jonathan Gannon, now the Packers defensive coordinator, getting a B+ from his Arizona Cardinals players. Jim Harbaugh of the Los Angeles Chargers, who is considered to be immensely popular among his players, got a C+.
