The results of an NFL Players Association survey revealed an old No. 1 — and a new No. 32.

Although the survey results were not made public by the NFLPA (after an arbitrator agreed with the NFL’s claim that the survey violated the Collective Bargaining Agreement by “disparaging NFL clubs and individuals”), ESPN obtained and published the results.

The Miami Dolphins claimed the top spot among the players’ survey for the third consecutive year. The Pittsburgh Steelers, meanwhile, took the bottom spot for the first time.

The Steelers received low grades in several categories, including the quality of their facilities — from the field to the trainers’ room to the locker room — as well as their strength coaches.

“We are not going to comment on a report that we have not seen in its entirety,” Steelers senior director of communications Burt Lauten told ESPN.

Acrisure Stadium, built in 2001, has been the Steelers’ home since the demolition of Three Rivers Stadium in 2000. Players weren’t the only ones to register complaints about the facility, whose trough-style urinals for fans weren’t fully replaced until 2024.

The Steelers and the University of Pittsburgh football team both call Acrisure home.

The Dolphins, meanwhile, received praise for a variety of reasons among the 1,695 players surveyed.

New York Jets owner Woody Johnson called the survey results bogus. Regardless, the 2026 results are now public. Despite the arbitrator’s ruling, results from the 2025 survey are still live on the NFLPA’s website.
