Oh lord.
New York Jets head coach Aaron Glenn is making headlines for all of the wrong reasons. During the NFL Network’s television coverage of the NFL Combine on Thursday, February 26, Glenn seemingly got caught sleeping in the Jets’ suite in Indianapolis.
The cameras cut to AG as NFL Network host Rich Eisen said, “As Aaron Glenn looks on for the Jets.”
Glenn kept his eyes closed for five seconds with his right hand balled up in a fist pressed against his face. He then suddenly awakens from his nap and starts looking around.
“Somebody probably alerted Jets HC Aaron Glenn that he’s asleep on live television,” Awful Announcing posted.

The Jets Can’t Help Themselves
There are plenty of reasons why the Jets are the punchline in the NFL.
The Jets are in the middle of the NFL’s longest active playoff drought at 15 seasons and counting. Since 2011, the Jets have only had one winning season.
In more recent news, the Jets are coming off a 3-14 season, which is one of the worst in team history. Throughout the year, head coach Aaron Glenn was called out for his interactions with the media and for his questionable clock management decisions.
Back in Week 3 of the 2025 season, AG went viral for dancing on the sideline after a huge play in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers game. However, his defense would go on to immediately give up that lead in the waning seconds to lose.
That defense became the first in NFL history to go through an entire season without recording an interception.
AG hasn’t helped himself at the podium with quotes about “superpowers” and “holding onto the rope.”
Now he got caught sleeping in 4K at a moment when he should be paying more attention than usual. The Jets hold the No. 2 overall pick in the first round of the 2026 NFL draft. That pick is expected to be a front-seven player on defense.
The on-field workouts on Thursday featured the top defensive linemen and linebackers in the draft. This is something you’d figure AG would be paying close attention to, not falling asleep in the middle of.
