Justin Herbert had a quietly productive 2025 season for the Los Angeles Chargers, leading them to an 11-6 record and a playoff spot. Despite playing behind one of the league’s worst offensive lines, the 27-year-old threw for 3,727 yards and 26 touchdowns. He earned his second career Pro Bowl nod and even rushed for a career-high 498 yards.
However, off the field, Herbert has also been making headlines throughout the season. Since the summer, the Chargers’ QB has been linked to pop singer Madison Beer, and the two have become one of the more high-profile couples in sports.
Now, Beer is opening up about what she actually wants for herself and admits that she does not want to stay famous forever.

On Tuesday, CBS Mornings released an extended interview with Beer. There, the two-time GRAMMY-nominated artist didn’t talk much about stadium sellouts or boyfriends’ chart positions. Instead, she painted a pretty grounded picture of where she sees herself one day.

Beer described a dream life built around family, animals, plants, and vegetables. The kind of quiet existence she dreamed of sounds quite different from the fame she’s navigated since her early teens.
“I think about myself having a family one day,” Beersaid. “I think about myself devoting my time to taking care of animals, plants, and vegetables, that just sounds very nice, and I already love doing that on a small scale…. They make me feel good.”
Beer and Herbert first led to dating chatters in August 2025, when the two were photographed together on the set of one of Beer’s music videos in Los Angeles.
After tons of speculations, they finally went public when Beer was photographed kissing Herbert on the sidelines before his Week 5 game against the Washington Commanders, and a few weeks later made a more official appearance courtside at a Los Angeles Lakers game.

Beer has described Herbert as someone who makes her feel “taken care of,” and has credited him for giving her a sense of steadiness she hasn’t always had in past relationships.

Weeks before, in a separate interview with Hollywood Reporter, she got into the anxiety that comes with existing as a public figure in the social media age. The best part? She didn’t sugarcoat it.
“My relationship with social media is really poor. I feel like I’m constantly anxious and feeling like I want to delete all my social media,” Beersaid.
She added, “It’s something I actually struggle with weekly, where I will have a thought: I don’t want to participate in any of that stuff anymore.”
Before dating Justin Herbert, Madison Beer had several high-profile relationships. Her first serious relationship was with Jack Gilinsky. It began when she was 15 and ended in 2017. It was the darkest moment of her life, especially in 2016.
In the years that followed, she briefly dated Brooklyn Beckham and later had an on-and-off relationship with Zack Bia that lasted nearly two years. Most recently, she was with TikTok creator Nick Austin for four years. That relationship ended in early 2025, shortly before she met Herbert.
