Our under-18s host Norwich City on Saturday, looking to build momentum from last weekend's 2-1 win over Aston Villa. Kick-off at the Sobha Realty Training Centre is scheduled for 12pm (UK).
We recorded our first victory of 2026 when Angelinou Pedro struck in stoppage time against the Villains, after Louis Zecevic-John had given us the lead from the penalty spot.
The win moves us back into the top 10 of the U18 Premier League South table as we prepare to host the Canaries this weekend in search of our first home win of the calendar year.
the opposition
Norwich have turned their form around in the past month. Having lost six games in a row from the middle of December through to the end of January, the Canaries are unbeaten in their four matches in February.
Perhaps the most impressive result Saturday's opponents have had this season came in their most recent match, as they dismantled Birmingham City in a 5-1 win at the Avant Training Centre.
Finn Corke, who scored twice in last weekend's big win, has been the standout player for Norwich so far this term, netting nine goals in the league.
This will be our third clash with the East Anglian side this season, having faced them away from home in both the U18s Premier League and U18s Premier League Cup. The league encounter saw us emerge as 2-1 winners on the opening day of the season, while we staged a dramatic comeback to draw 3-3 in our Premier League Cup meeting.
