English teams dominate the last 16 of the , with , , , , and all in the mix.
Newcastle were the only English club to even need a play-off , with the other five all finishing inside the top eight in the group stage to book their place automatically and become seeded. Eddie Howe's side made short work of Qarabag 9-3 on aggregate .
They are joined by plenty of big-hitters, with defending champions Paris Saint-Germain in there alongside Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich. Meanwhile, Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt have made history by reaching the last 16 thanks to a play-off win over last year's finalists Inter Milan.

Six English teams involved
Six of the 16 sides left in the Champions League are English. That's 37.5 per cent and shows the Premier League's dominance of Europe's top club competition this season.
