Earlier this week, Sport Witness covered claims from Italy about the situation of Arsenal’s Gabriel Jesus.

The player was attracting interest from AC Milan, who were preparing a serious move to land the Brazilian.

There was confidence that Jesus will depart Arsenal in the summer, as he’s looking for game time. Negotiations between the two clubs were expected to be complicated but despite that, the Rossoneri were set to give it a go.

Now, it seems like the striker’s agents are desperate for a transfer and this has attracted more suitors.

Juventus want the Arsenal player

TuttoJuve report that it isn’t just Milan who want the 28-year-old, with the San Siro club now facing competition from Juventus.

Both Italian giants are willing to offer an appealing project to the Arsenal player, who is seen as the ideal target. Serie A has a reputation for bringing most out of Brazilian players and this could turn out to be quite promising for the striker.

The outlet are confident that Jesus’ agents are engineering an exit from the Emirates already. Despite his contract running out in 2027, there is desperation to depart.

This is giving Juventus a chance to make an attempt and move before anyone else does.

Italy likely destination for Jesus

It is important to note that the ex-Manchester City player recently changed his agents and joined Branchini Associati. They represent a host of players in Italy and also look after Milan manager Max Allegri. As of now, the Arsenal man is their only client who plays in England.

Whether that hands Milan an advantage or not remains to be seen, but it shows that Italy will be a likely destination for Jesus.

It won’t be a surprise if there is interest from England. But the intention to join hands with Branchini probably shows Jesus’ desire to move to the Serie A. Since his contract expires in 2027, it can make it easier for suitors to land him.
