Bills get 'F' in NFL report cards for 1 specific issue

The NFL report cards that are voted on by the players were released by ESPN on Thursday.

In one category, the Buffalo Bills got an F.

Overall, the Bills were middle of the pack. Their cumulative grade ranked them 16th out of 32 NFL teams.

But in the category 'Home Game Field,' it was an F grade for the Bills.

The implication there is that the field condition in Buffalo simply isn't up to snuff with the rest of the fields in the leagues.

It's certainly not an easy place to keep in shape. The weather conditions in Western New York make it tough.

It's still not ideal that players think it's that bad, though. It gives Buffalo something to think about as it moves into its new stadium.

That was actually the only grade the Bills got in the whole survey that was lower than a B-minus.

They got A grades for weight room, strength coaches and position coaches.

Ironically, head coach got an A-minus -- and yes, this survey was taken while Sean McDermott was still in charge. That aligns with the idea that some players didn't like that McDermott was gotten rid of.

Offensive coordinator, which was Joe Brady, also got an A-minus. He's the new head coach.

If Buffalo can make its field work out better in the new stadium, its overall rank seems likely to move way up, because everything else grades out solidly.
