Liverpool are back in Premier League action this weekend but will be without some of their key players due to injury. The Reds will host West Ham at Anfield on Saturday afternoon as they continue their quest to qualify for next season's Champions League.

Arne Slot’s side go into the game on the back of a 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest last weekend, with Alexis Mac Allister scoring the decisive goal in stoppage time. The Reds are currently in sixth place in the Premier League table, level on points with fifth-placed Chelsea and three behind Manchester United, who are fourth.

Liverpool will hope to clinch a victory against the Hammers to boost their Champions League qualification hopes, and ahead of the game, the ECHO has taken a look at the Reds' current injury list and potential return dates.

Florian Wirtz

Florian Wirtz is not expected to be available for Liverpool’s clash against West Ham with an injury that kept him out of the win over Nottingham Forest.

Wirtz picked up the injury during the warm-up at the City Ground, and Slot has admitted he does not know how long the playmaker will be on the sidelines for.

“Don't expect Florian to be [available], which is a dsiappointment, every time my player isn't available is disappointment and I didn't expect it," Slot said on Friday.

“No [idea how long he is out]. Usually I do but don't want to share it, but I honestly don't know.

“It's a big accomplishment for him to stay fit for such a long time because he had to stay fit to make the step up, but unfortunately he is not available, which is a disappointment for him and for us because he played really well."

Potential return date: Unknown

Jeremie Frimpong

Jeremie Frimpong is set to return to the Liverpool squad for the clash against West Ham after being sidelined with a thigh injury.

Frimpong has missed Liverpool’s last five matches with the injury but has returned to training and is expected to be available to face the Hammers.

“Jeremie is OK, trained with us and is available,” Slot said.

Potential return date: West Ham (H) - Saturday, February 28

Alexander Isak

Alexander Isak is stepping up his recovery from a fractured fibula and ankle injury that saw him undergo surgery back in December.

Slot stated last week that he hopes to have Isak back in training either at the end of March or the start of April. but would not say when the striker would be available for selection.

"It will be somewhere around the international break, depends on if he gets a setback,” Slot said. “End of March, start of April, when he's back with the group. Doesn't mean he's ready to start playing straight away."

Potential return date: April

Wataru Endo

Wataru Endo suffered a foot injury during the win over Sunderland earlier this month, with the Japan international leaving the pitch at the Stadium of Light on a stretcher.

No clear timeframe for a return has been given, but Slot will hope to have Endo available again before the end of the season.

"A foot injury,” Slot told reporters earlier this month. "We still need to do some assessments, but it's clear and obvious that he will be out for quite a long time."

Potential return date: Unknown

Conor Bradley

Conor Bradley suffered a knee injury during the goalless draw with Arsenal at the start of the year.

The Northern Ireland international is expected to miss the rest of the season with the injury, which forced him to undergo surgery.

Potential return date: July pre-season

Giovanni Leoni

Giovanni Leoni suffered a knee injury on his Liverpool debut back in September, which will force the defender to miss the rest of the season.

The Reds will hope to have the £26million signing from Parma back in contention to feature once again this summer.

Potential return date: July pre-season
