Opta’s supercomputer has predicted the outcome of each Champions League last-16 tie, including Liverpool vs Galatasaray.
The draw for the Champions League Round of 16 took place on Friday and threw up some interesting matches.

Manchester City are playing Real Madrid yet again, while Liverpool will take on Galatasaray.
The Turkish outfit won their last meeting earlier this season, and Victor Osimhen fears the Reds may want revenge for their group stage clash.
Liverpool expected to beat Galatasaray in Champions League last-16
However, while Liverpool lost last time out, Opta make Arne Slot’s men heavy favourites to advance into the quarter-finals.
Their supercomputer has simulated the upcoming last-16 phase 10,000 times to determine the winner of each match.
Liverpool are given an 82.3% chance of qualifying, the second most of any team left in the tournament behind Arsenal (85.8%).

Elsewhere, Chelsea are just about favourites to see off the current holders PSG (53.3%) and Manchester City are expected to beat Real Madrid (64.3%).
The remaining two English clubs left in the competition are expected to be knocked out, with Newcastle United having a 44.7% chance of beating FC Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur (46.3%) underdogs against Atletico Madrid.

Who will Liverpool face in the Champions League quarter-final?
If Opta’s prediction comes true and Liverpool advance, their last-eight opponents have already been decided.
Paris Saint-Germain or Chelsea v Galatasaray or Liverpool
Real Madrid or Manchester City v Atalanta or Bayern Munich
Newcastle United or Barcelona v Atletico Madrid or Tottenham Hotspur
Bodo/Glimt or Sporting CP v Bayer Leverkusen or Arsenal
An all-English affair could be on the cards, though Arne Slot probably wouldn’t mind coming up against PSG, who beat Liverpool last season before going on to lift the trophy.
Based on Opta’s calculations, however, it is Chelsea and the Reds who will be facing off in the next stage.
