The Blues spent close to a combined £90m on the duo last summer, but outside of a few moments here and there, both have failed to have a meaningful impact.
Gittens is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury picked up against West Ham, whilst Garnacho has been an unused sub in three of the last five league games.

Chelsea have tried a number of options on the left with Pedro Neto often playing there, whilst Estevao has also lined up there at times.
In more recent games Rosenior has experimented with Enzo Fernandez playing in a wider role, although the Argentine didn’t have the best game against Burnley.

The left wing position has been an issue for the Blues, but Rosenior believes Gittens was showing promise before his injury.
“Jamie showed really promising signs and then got injured vs West Ham,” he told his pre-match press conference.
“Garna showed really encouraging signs too. There’s a lot of tactical things as well – it’s not just on those players, it’s about finding the right functions for the team.”
Garnacho has scored six goals and registered three assists in 29 appearances in all competitions, whilst Gittens has returned one goal and five assists in 27 appearances.
Arsenal vs Chelsea team news
Chelsea head to Arsenal on Sunday looking for a first win against the Gunners since 2021, and desperately need a result to boost their hopes of Champions League qualification.
Rosenior has provided an injury update, and confirmed both Marc Cucurella and Estevao would miss the game, whilst Jamie Gittens is progressing well in his recovery.
Chelsea will also be without the suspended Wesley Fofana, and everyone will need to be at the top of their game if the Blues are to get a result.
