Liverpool will face Galatasaray in the Champions League last 16, and the dates and times for the two-legged ties have been confirmed – and it includes an early kickoff.
Liverpool were drawn to face Galatasaray in the last 16 of the Champions League on Friday morning, with their potential route to the final also mapped out.
And now the dates and times have been confirmed for the knockout tie, which includes an early evening kickoff in Istanbul in the first leg:
• First Leg – Away: Tuesday, March 10, 5.45pm
• Second Leg – Home: Wednesday, March 18, 8pm
It is the first time this season Liverpool have an early kickoff in European competition, which travelling supporters may enjoy as they will be expected to be held back after the match.
The first leg comes after a trip to Wolves in the FA Cup on Friday March 6, and the second falls after Tottenham‘s visit in the Premier League on March 15.
If Arne Slot‘s side were to progress to the quarter-final, they they will face either PSG or Chelsea and host the second leg at Anfield.

By facing Galatasaray in the last 16, Liverpool are on a path to face PSG or Chelsea in the quarter-finals and potentially Real Madrid, Man City, Atalanta or Bayern Munich in the semi-finals.
If Liverpool were to progress in the competition, they would play the second leg of the quarter-final at Anfield, and host the first leg of the semi-final.
