The draw was made earlier on Friday and set out City’s prospective path all the way to this May’s final in Budapest.

Should we overcome Real Madrid, we will face either Bayern Munich or Atalanta in the quarter-finals.

We would then face one of Chelsea, Galatasaray, Liverpool or PSG in the final four.

This will be our sixth two-legged tie with Real Madrid in the last seven seasons, with City progressing twice in the previous five.

The two sides have already met at the Bernabeu this term, with goals from Nico O’Reilly and Erling Haaland earning us the league phase victory in December.
