Under-pressure New York Jets head coach Aaron Glenn was literally caught sleeping on the job at the NFL Combine on Thursday.

Glenn, who endured a nightmare first year in charge of the Jets after going 3-14, was shown on the big screen in Indianapolis while edge rusher David Bailey was getting ready to run the 40-yard dash.

And incredibly, he appeared to be getting some shut-eye up in the stands as Bailey prepared for his attempt.

After opening his eyes and seemingly noticing he was on the big screen, the 53-year-old looked slightly startled as he watched the Texas Tech star go through the gears.

While he may have simply been looking down at a screen, it didn't take long for Glenn to become the butt of the jokes on social media.

'Serious organization alright,' one user posted on X.

Another commented: 'the most Jets thing ever'.

'The Jets have been asleep [on] the clock for several years. Nothing new here,' a third concluded.

'Such a bad look and more awful vibes from the Jets that they don’t need,' wrote a fourth.

While one brutally said: 'He did that all season too'.

Glenn is facing a crucial second year in charge of the Jets, who failed to reach the playoffs for the 15th straight season in 2025.

His sleepy antics at the NFL Combine were not the only source of frustration for New York fans on Thursday night, nevertheless.

Just four years after picking him in the first round of the 2022 draft, the team also agreed to trade defensive end Jermaine Johnson to the Tennessee Titans, much to the fury of their supporters.

The move will see Johnson reunited with former Jets head coach Robert Saleh, who was in charge of the franchise when they drafted him four years ago.

During his first two seasons, Johnson recorded 10 sacks before tearing his Achilles just two games into the 2024 season.

He made his return last season and went on to record 43 tackles and three sacks.

While the deal has already been agreed, according to multiple reports, it cannot be officially processed until the start of the new league year on March 11.
