All the latest transfer rumours and gossip, with Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea all linked with blockbuster moves.

Arsenal lead Liverpool and Man Utd for Gordon

Newcastle winger Anthony Gordon is wanted by a trio of Premier League giants, with Arsenal leading Liverpool and Man Utd in the race for the England winger, according to The Sun.

While the Gunners believe that Gordon is open to a move to North London, there is still work to be done over a transfer fee.

Mikel Arteta’s side are only willing to pay €85 million (£75m) for the former Everton man but Newcastle are likely to demand up to €110m (£95m) for the player.

ANALYSIS: Newcastle will be eager to retain their star names after losing Alexander Isak last summer, and the price they have put on Gordon is prohibitive to any club moving for him. After all, the 25-year-old has only three Premier League goals in 21 appearances this season. He is not a €100m player.

Wharton reaches transfer agreement with Crystal Palace

Adam Wharton has agreed with Crystal Palace that he will leave if a bid in the region of €75m is made for him next summer.

The 22-year-old has been heavily linked with a number of big clubs around Europe, with Real Madrid earmarking him as their long-term replacement for Toni Kroos while Liverpool and Manchester United have been tracking him closely.

Palace have agreed that he can join a Champions League club if their demand is met.

ANALYSIS: Wharton’s Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) sits at €63.4m so Palace’s valuation represents a comparatively fair price. With so much interest in the former Blackburn man, it’s one they appear likely to reach. Wharton is surely in his final months as a Crystal Palace player.

Chelsea monitoring Cristiano Ronaldo

Could Cristiano Ronaldo be on his way back to the Premier League for one last hurrah? A report from Football Insider suggests that the Blues are monitoring the former Man Utd and Real Madrid star with a view to bringing him back as a commercial opportunity.

Ronaldo is in a difficult period at Al-Nassr and has been linked with a summer move away from the Saudi Pro League club after becoming unsettled.

He still has a contract that expires at the end of June 2027.

ANALYSIS: There is surely no chance of Ronaldo moving to Chelsea, where he would only be their 29th best player, according to FootballTransfers data. Almeria looks an altogether likelier destination for the legendary figure.
